Love yourself & the skin you’re in this Valentines
It’s the month of heart-shaped everything, romantic greeting cards, roses, chocolate, and love… but it’s also 2024! Maybe it’s time we stopped waiting around for someone to tell us how loved we are and shower ourselves with that love instead!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for date nights and exchanging Valentines, but I also believe it’s so important to love yourself. The first step to loving yourself is to prioritize your self-care and your well-being. There are so many ways to do this and I’m going to share a few of my favorites with you!
Take yourself on a date
Ok, don’t roll your eyes. This doesn’t necessarily mean getting dressed up, heading out to a fancy restaurant, and ordering the filet mignon and a bottle of wine for yourself (unless that’s your jam)! It can be as simple as buying yourself a latte or a shaved ice and enjoying your own company. Just make sure to wear that outfit that makes you feel cute and dress up for yourself for once!
Write a love note to… you!
Or a letter! Seriously, grab a pen and a piece of paper and take five minutes to write a love note to yourself. What do you love about you? What are you proud of? What’s your favorite feature about yourself? End the note with a word of encouragement to yourself that you can go back and read when you need a boost. Stick a stamp on that and mail it if you’d like… because you’re worth the postage!
Buy yourself flowers
That bouquet that caught your eye in the store? Go back for it, even if you think your significant other will get you flowers on Valentine’s Day. Display those flowers somewhere that they can be admired for their beauty. Guarantee they will make you smile every time you see them. Better yet, get yourself a Kona Treehouse plant that will remind you how amazing you are, all year long while showing some love to another local business!
Pamper yourself
When you pamper yourself, you’re not only sending a message to yourself that you love and treasure the skin you’re in, but you’re also reinforcing self-care habits and reducing stress. Why not pamper yourself this Valentine’s month with a facial? If you’re never had a facial, or it’s been awhile, it’s time to reap the benefits of this healing combination of massage and professional products.
A facial can promote collagen production, help minimize fine lines and age spots, and exfoliate your skin to unclog pores, prevent breakouts, and promote clear skin. Facials also flush out waste sitting underneath the skin that might otherwise cause puffiness and ruddiness. A facial offers the detoxification and moisturization you need for healthier, smoother, firmer skin!
Choose from my 45 minute facial … or my spa facial, which comes with hot steam, a sculpting face massage, and a relaxing arm massage too. Slip into a state of relaxation and awake to beautiful, glowing skin with this 75-minute facial!
Book an appointment with me!
You deserve to glow, from head to toe, and a facial is an amazing way to embrace your own radiance! Think of it this way: Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life. So set the bar high and set up an appointment with me!
